good eats

I used to think of good eats as small plates of food, delicately prepared and served artistically in lavish restaurants with plenty of chatter and ambiance.  In this place we call home, that still feels new despite the fact that we've lived here for six years, good eats has been redefined!

This week's good eats:




:: fresh strawberries purchased from a roadside stand and grown on that farm

:: fresh large, brown eggs from a friend who is raising chickens

:: popcorn from a local Amish bulk foods store and confirmed to be from their crop

Mmmmmm! Buon appetito!
